We went to meet Franck, night receptionist at the Walt Hotel. In this Lovers' Favourite, he tells us about his favourite place in Paris: the Montmartre district.

Franck loves Montmartre

Montmartre is unique, with its cobbled streets, its artists, its bistros and its magnificent basilica, one can only be charmed by this district. Situated on top of a hill, Montmartre is as much appreciated by Parisians as by tourists. This charming neighbourhood is dominated by the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a masterpiece of beauty and greatness and one of the most emblematic monuments in Paris.

Franck has known this place for some time as it is his favourite place in Paris. Although it is his favourite district, he doesn't have the opportunity to go there regularly. He was therefore delighted to learn that he was going to pose there for a photo shoot organised by the Inwood Hotels group to highlight its collaborators.

"It's the nicest area of Paris to visit!"

For our Inwood Lover, Montmartre is "the prettiest neighbourhood in Paris to visit". For him, this Parisian district is "timeless", with a unique atmosphere far removed from the hustle and bustle of Paris. If you're looking for a spot of nature, Franck suggests you go for a walk. With its gardens, vineyards and charming houses, this area will allow you to escape from Paris for a while.

Franck also appreciates this area for its architecture. A passionate photographer, he tells us how delighted he was with the pictures he was able to take of the Sacré-Coeur basilica: "I walked around the basilica and was able to take pictures of the beautiful details of the architecture". He recommends all photography enthusiasts to go there and admire Montmartre through their cameras.

If you're walking around, our Inwood Lover recommends a trip to the Hall Saint Pierre. He tells us "this great art gallery is located at the bottom of the hill and offers a beautiful view of Montmartre", part museum, part gallery, part bookshop and part tea room, you will have a great time in this place.

During your stay in Paris, don't hesitate to visit this unmissable district of the capital.
