THE WALT LOVES THE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Herbariums, animals, cultural objects and palaeontological remains, the Natural History Museum in Paris is a real treasure trove. Thanks to its vast collection, it is one of the most important museums in the city.

It will satisfy most of you because of the numerous exhibits that can be found there: mineralogy, geology, paleontology, human history... More than 2 million objects are exposed in this museum!

For lovers of natural history, we advise you to visit the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution. This mythical place welcomes you in a more real than life sound environment where you will find the sounds of the savannah, violent storms or animal noises. Immersed in this universe, you will discover numerous aquatic and terrestrial species that have marked our history.

A STROLL THROUGH THE PLANT GARDEN

At the heart of the museum you will find the magnificent Jardin des Plantes. This garden has existed for more than 400 years and has an incredible diversity of plants. It offers us a real journey through time and around the world.

We recommend a visit in the spring, when you will see an exceptional number of colourful flowers in bloom.

For flower lovers, there are areas dedicated to flowers, such as the rose garden with more than 300 different varieties and the iris and perennial garden, which will transport you to the Netherlands.

Thanks to this garden, you will have the impression of escaping from Paris. The Jardin des Plantes is an ideal place to stroll for several hours in the flowery alleys.
